Day 1: Arrival in Cairo – Welcome to Egypt!

Your adventure begins as you arrive in Cairo. A representative from Egypt Capital Travel will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel for check-in. Take the evening to relax and enjoy your first glimpses of this bustling capital city.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx & Sakkara

Fuel up with breakfast, then head straight to the world-renowned Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, and the timeless Sphinx. Learn the stories and secrets of these ancient structures from your expert guide.

Later, continue to Sakkara, where the Step Pyramid of Djoser awaits—an essential piece of Egypt’s architectural history. After a full day of ancient marvels, return to Cairo for the night.

Day 3: Cairo City Tour – Museums, Mosques & Markets

Explore Old Cairo with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, showcasing treasures from Tutankhamun and countless other dynasties.

Next, venture to the Citadel of Saladin, home to the breathtaking Mosque of Muhammad Ali. In the afternoon, enjoy the bustling ambiance of Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s most iconic bazaar. Sample street food, shop for souvenirs, or simply enjoy the atmosphere before heading back to your hotel.

Evening: Board an overnight train (sleeper cabin) or take a short domestic flight (optional upgrade) to Aswan.

Day 4: Arrival in Aswan – Cruise Embarkation & Sightseeing

Upon arrival in Aswan, transfer to your Nile Cruise and settle in. After lunch, begin exploring the southern treasures of Egypt:

  • Philae Temple: Accessible only by boat, this beautifully restored temple is a tribute to the goddess Isis.
  • Aswan High Dam: Discover how modern engineering shaped today’s Egypt.
  • Unfinished Obelisk: Learn about the craftsmanship behind ancient Egyptian stonework.

End your day with a peaceful felucca ride on the Nile. Dinner and overnight onboard.

Day 5: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples

Sail north and stop at Kom Ombo Temple, uniquely dedicated to two gods—Sobek and Horus. Admire the detailed carvings and visit the on-site Crocodile Museum.

After lunch, cruise toward Edfu and explore the remarkably preserved Temple of Horus, reached by horse-drawn carriage.

Evening onboard includes dinner, traditional music, and optional Galabeya Party. Overnight en route to Luxor.

Day 6: Luxor – East Bank Temples

After breakfast, arrive in Luxor and head out to explore the East Bank:

Return to the ship for dinner and overnight onboard in Luxor.
